Quantitity Surveyor

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years experience in handling pre and post contract administration

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and measurement of quantities

  • Have the knowledge on steel structure

  • Good communication and negotiation skills

  • Good analytical skill

  • Computer literate

Job Description

  • Assist in the evaluation of tenders including checking tender documents, preparing tender cost comparisons, preparing tender clarification lists, conducting site visits, preparing internal memos and checking schedule of rates with the contractor.

  • Attend tender briefing and tender clarification interview when necessary.

  • Prepare cost analysis for all awarded contracts including measurement, source & compile all documents and drawings, and prepare brief specification.

  • To check the variation orders and final accounts submitted by Business Units, including take off quantities, prepare cost estimates, liaison with contractors & consultants and compile all necessary documents.

  • To keep and maintain all documentation for Group including sourcing and sorting documents according to different project and /or Business Unit.

  • To follow up on the status of the pre-qualification of new contractors or renewal of registered contractors.

  • Assist in special assignments including measurements, site valuations, cost estimates, settlement of final accounts as directed from time to time.
